Tyler is a Data Engineer Consultant at Compass Analytics. Tyler brings experience from the pharmaceutical industry to Compass where he led data migration from on-premise to the AWS cloud. His work resulted in significant cost reductions in maintenance and manual work. He was also responsible for creating new outlier detection logic, maintaining manufacturing process parameters and developing dashboards.

Tyler has experience working in Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Python, R, SQL, Alteryx, Dataiku, PowerBI, QlikSense, and Git. Tyler is based in Toronto, Ontario. He is a 2023 Master of Management Analytics graduate from McGill University. Outside of work, golf is an instrumental part of Tyler's life. He used to play with Team Ontario from 2014 to 2017, and is currently an instructor now for up and coming students.

His diverse background includes roles in baseball operations, sponsorship, and analytics at organizations like MLSE and the Ottawa Senators, as well as sports tech start-ups and sponsorship agencies. At SAP, Scott led North American sports initiatives, shaping software solutions and strategies for global giants like Bayern Munich and the NBA.

He holds degrees from Laurentian, McGill, and Queen’s University and serves on the boards of prominent sports management programs. Scott is also an advocate for women in sports tech and recently completed his first Ironman Triathlon.
